Summertime Sandals

I have been on the hunt for the perfect pair of leather sandals that I can wear with just about anything. At this point I have ordered and returned at least 10 pairs; color not right, straps too thin, straps too tight… you name it, I didn’t love them, even the most expensive of the pairs.

I had just about given up when I came across this pair of Banana Republic sandals. I received them this week and they are perfect!  I look forward to wearing this classic pair of sandals ALL summer!

PS – Banana Republic always has coupon codes/sales, keep you eye out for the best price!

Prime Finds

I hate to even admit it but I’ve ordered way too many things off of Amazon lately. All of these items are in full rotation. The rattan coasters are the newest arrivals and are perfect for cocktails OR for candles. I am obsessed with the one shoulder swimsuit and leopard sarong, such a high-end look for so much less. My go-to summer swim look! I am not normally a backpack person but I have been riding my bike more and more it is the perfect piece to carry all my things and not take up room in my basket. How cute are these dinner napkins? Perfect for summer entertaining. I personally own all of these fabulous finds and would highly recommend them. What’s in your Amazon cart?

ETSY FINDS

I could spend hours browsing Etsy for unique gifts, beautiful textiles and fun jewelry! It is such a great place to discover new designers and artist. I recently scooped up these pillows for our couch,  hand-blocked dinner napkins for the holidays and a beautiful, handmade necklace.

BLUE & WHITE

We had so much fun registering for our wedding and even more fun putting all of our beautiful gifts to good use. We are still finalizing a few pieces for our China, we went with classic blue and white, and I love how it can be mixed and matched so easily.

Picking Back Up

You know that feeling when you see an old friend that you haven’t seen or spoken to in a while, maybe even years, but you some how pick up right where you left off without skipping a beat?!

That is how I feel about this space. I haven’t been here in a while but am picking right back where I left off – my love (and knack) for sharing fabulous finds.

Over the years I have acquired quite the collection of glassware. Some gifts, some handed down from family members and a few I’ve scooped up along the way. During this quarantine time we’ve been reaching for our glassware now more than ever – cocktail hour, every hour!

I ordered these beautiful glasses, in sage, and haven’t stopped using them since they arrived! They are designed by Sir|Madam and I love the story that accompanies the design.

We were inspired to create this bespoke collection of colorfully festive drinking glasses on a trip to Italy’s beloved Floating City. Designed in homage to the defining arches that adorn Venice’s most iconic bridge, our Rialto Tumbler is perfect for everything from water to wine. Finished by hand in Turkey, it requires a multi-step process that is executed by artisans. No two are exactly alike, and subtle nuances in depth of color and cutwork are to be expected and embraced.

BEADED BRACELETS

Always looking for new bracelets to add to the stack. These little baubles are so cute and under $20; best part they are on Amazon Prime!

Weekend Jeans I Live In

I cannot recommend these jeans enough; the Gap mid-rise kick crop. I bought a pair over the holidays and have since bought a second pair, and a third pair in white. I ordered them in a tall and cut the bottoms to the exact length I wanted. One pair perfect for booties and the other pair for tennis shoes. They are super soft and by far the most comfortable jeans I own.

Pinterest Love

As instagram has taken over our lives {at least it seems that way to me} I am still returning to Pinterest for inspiration, ideas and tips and tricks. Being in the middle of wedding planning, I find myself on Pinterest daily and am still surprise how many things I discover. These are a few of my most recent favorites.

The most unreal light fixture.
Wedding wear inspiration.
Saved this one for my next trip to NYC.
A much, much more affordable look for less.
Getting excited to design our wedding wax seal.

My Everyday Bag

Before the holidays I began the search for a structured handbag that wasn’t too expensive, would keep its shape and would hold everything from file folders to my laptop; without looking like a piece of luggage. I stumbled upon this bag on Amazon and with the rave reviews, the price point, and the sleek, chic design (very similar to this high-end designer bag), I ordered it. A few months in and I can honestly say it is one of my favorite purses I have purchased. The quality surpasses some of my more expensive bags and the size is just large enough to tote my laptop but also small enough to head to happy hour after work without looking like I just stepped off the plane. Best part is comes 26 – YES – 26 colors!

I selected a neutral canvas with coordinating leather. Gave it one spray of scotch guard to protect the canvas and haven’t looked back! How fun is this orange for summer?!
