BLUE & WHITE

We had so much fun registering for our wedding and even more fun putting all of our beautiful gifts to good use. We are still finalizing a few pieces for our China, we went with classic blue and white, and I love how it can be mixed and matched so easily.

Picking Back Up

You know that feeling when you see an old friend that you haven’t seen or spoken to in a while, maybe even years, but you some how pick up right where you left off without skipping a beat?!

That is how I feel about this space. I haven’t been here in a while but am picking right back where I left off – my love (and knack) for sharing fabulous finds.

Over the years I have acquired quite the collection of glassware. Some gifts, some handed down from family members and a few I’ve scooped up along the way. During this quarantine time we’ve been reaching for our glassware now more than ever – cocktail hour, every hour!

I ordered these beautiful glasses, in sage, and haven’t stopped using them since they arrived! They are designed by Sir|Madam and I love the story that accompanies the design.

We were inspired to create this bespoke collection of colorfully festive drinking glasses on a trip to Italy’s beloved Floating City. Designed in homage to the defining arches that adorn Venice’s most iconic bridge, our Rialto Tumbler is perfect for everything from water to wine. Finished by hand in Turkey, it requires a multi-step process that is executed by artisans. No two are exactly alike, and subtle nuances in depth of color and cutwork are to be expected and embraced.

BEADED BRACELETS

Always looking for new bracelets to add to the stack. These little baubles are so cute and under $20; best part they are on Amazon Prime!

Weekend Jeans I Live In

I cannot recommend these jeans enough; the Gap mid-rise kick crop. I bought a pair over the holidays and have since bought a second pair, and a third pair in white. I ordered them in a tall and cut the bottoms to the exact length I wanted. One pair perfect for booties and the other pair for tennis shoes. They are super soft and by far the most comfortable jeans I own.

Pinterest Love

As instagram has taken over our lives {at least it seems that way to me} I am still returning to Pinterest for inspiration, ideas and tips and tricks. Being in the middle of wedding planning, I find myself on Pinterest daily and am still surprise how many things I discover. These are a few of my most recent favorites.

The most unreal light fixture.
Wedding wear inspiration.
Saved this one for my next trip to NYC.
A much, much more affordable look for less.
Getting excited to design our wedding wax seal.

My Everyday Bag

Before the holidays I began the search for a structured handbag that wasn’t too expensive, would keep its shape and would hold everything from file folders to my laptop; without looking like a piece of luggage. I stumbled upon this bag on Amazon and with the rave reviews, the price point, and the sleek, chic design (very similar to this high-end designer bag), I ordered it. A few months in and I can honestly say it is one of my favorite purses I have purchased. The quality surpasses some of my more expensive bags and the size is just large enough to tote my laptop but also small enough to head to happy hour after work without looking like I just stepped off the plane. Best part is comes 26 – YES – 26 colors!

I selected a neutral canvas with coordinating leather. Gave it one spray of scotch guard to protect the canvas and haven’t looked back! How fun is this orange for summer?!

Hello….

…is this thing on… it’s been FAR too long since my last post! So many exciting things happening – my boyfriend proposed in October, the holidays are upon us and we are in full wedding planning mode – needless to say the celebrations have not stopped!

I can’t believe the year is almost over and Christmastime is here. Every year I look forward to slowing down and enjoying the season with my friends and family. It’s a running joke in my family that once December 1 rolls around they can expect my wish list in their inbox! Sharing a peek at my wish list below.

Coffee Table Book – Being newly engaged my eyes are on all things bridal! This book was one of the first things on my list – the most chic bridal inspiration! Not to mention will look great on my coffee table.

Structured Tote – I need a new tote that I can fit everything and won’t lose its shape; this one fits the bill. And it’s on Amazon Prime – win!

Oversized Bracelets – Seems like I have been collecting bracelets lately – how great is this lucite one?!

Casual Sneakers – My white sneakers have seen better days and I am need of an upgrade.

Hyped Facial Products – In 2019 I want to take better care of my skin and this three-step process has amazing reviews.

Checked Bag – truth is I already purchased this one for myself. I needed a bag that I could check for an upcoming trip and the price and style was right on this one.

Cane Craze

Owning a home has been such a fun journey, however I am continuously making a list of projects I want to start or pieces I want to acquire. Recently I have been drawn to the look of natural cane and light wood. It still has an airy feel and isn’t the commitment of a dark, heavy wood piece or the opposite, a stark white piece. I purchased this credenza for my guest bedroom and absolutely love it. Now if only I could find a place for the chair below. And what a fabulous bar the armoire would make!
