beach bag charm {DIY}

I’m heading to the beach this weekend for a much-needed getaway and started packing a few things. I love my beach bag from last season {seen here} however wanted to add a little bit of color. This simple DIY did the trick, and it only took about thirty minutes. Start by picking your yarn colors and follow these few easy steps:

1. Wrap yarn around sturdy object, use objects of varying sizes {or you can use your fingers like this technique}, pull yarn off of object, slowly

2. Wrap an additional piece of yarn {cut this piece really long, this is what you will use to attach to key-chain} around entire yarn ball and knot very tightly

3. Cut each side of yarn grouping open and begin to fluff and trim the yarn as needed

4. Once you have made the pom poms gather all yarn pieces and tie to key-chain
