It’s no secret Target has been on top of the home game for a while now. When the Opalhouse collection was released I couldn’t wait to get a closer look. More pieces from the line have continued to be introduced and the accent chairs have my eye. How fabulous is the cane back chair? Thinking I may need two.
Coffee Table Hunt
I’m on the hunt for a new coffee table and have looked at everything from brass, to marble, wood and even lucite. A black coffee table was not on the list, but the more the hunt goes on the more I am leaning towards black. Majority of my living area is neutral and white, I think solid black maybe just the contrast I need.

Moving On Up
The one thing I’ve been dreaming of these last few years, has finally happened – I’m a HOMEOWNER! I found the perfect place in the neighborhood I wanted to be in and am now the proud owner of my OWN home!
Let the decorating commence! I am taking it slow, for multiple reasons, but mainly because I want everything that comes into my new home to be thoughtful, special and full of meaning. I moved in with no living room furniture and have begun to fill the space with several pieces I have had my eye on for years.

Markette Nola
My local West Elm and Juley {of Upperlyne} hosted the greatest Etsy Pop-Up shop a few weeks back. I had the best time browsing local vendors and even picked up a few things. I scooped up a small original piece from Markette and absolutely love her work. The perfect addition to any gallery wall and the prints {and cards} make great gifts!
Friday Finds
1. White lacquered Bar Cabinet; You had me at lacquered! How great is this bar cabinet from Anthropologie?! I have no room for something like this but would love a similar piece in the future! #inspiration
2. Leather Magazine Rack: I’ve had my eye on a leather magazine rack for sometime now and love the design of this one. Still would love to find a vintage one.
3. Cord Bin: I hate cords! This little box hides all your cords and looks super stylish too!
4. Copper Cart: Shown with a record player, how fun?! But would work for a bar cart or even a night stand in a smaller bedroom.
Foxgram
I recently printed out a bunch of new photos for my house and went the instagram route, cause after all I feel like majority of my photos are on my phone these days. I used Foxgram and couldn’t be happier! I got the 3 x 4 prints and they came out great; and only $0.35 each! And that frame… it’s my new favorite!

Bedroom Confessions
When it comes to my bed, I’m extremely OCD. I won’t leave the house without the bed made, EVER. Even if it means running late. I’ve been this way as long as I can remember, and if someone else tries to make it, it’s not the same. When I was younger I was never the girl to let my friends hang out on my bed, it was a place for sleeping and I didn’t want it messed up until I was ready to get in it. Crazy I know, hence the post title. But there is something to be said about a well made bed. It sets the tone for your bedroom and your day and creates a sanctuary to call your own. What’s funny is whenever I see a really well made bed, I get a little envious and the itch to change my own. What’s even more funny is I happen to work for an amazing linen company, so everyday I see beautifully well made beds, that are constantly providing inspiration.
