In South Louisiana we battle all types of temperatures this time of year, one day it’s 85 and the next it’s 50. I very rarely reach for a heavy coat, therefore light weight pieces I can throw on are key! I just scooped up the light tan one and can’t wait to wear it over Thanksgiving.

If you have been following along on instagram, you know I have been traveling quite a bit these last two months. I just got back in town from a fun vacation {more on that later}, and still wanted to share these pictures from a fall trip to Savannah a few weeks back. My bf and I took the trip for the most magical wedding and Savannah was the perfect backdrop!

I can’t believe it’s been a few weeks since my last post! Things have been crazy busy, in a good way. I’m finally back with a few of my most recent favorite finds. My fall calendar is booking up with travel and I have been more mindful of purchasing items that are easy to pack and can get a few wears on each trip. I also scooped up a new suitcase on sale at Macy’s. What are your favorite wearable items to travel with this fall?
Being from South Louisiana, when I first started noticing camo on the racks at my favorite retailers I felt very hesitant to make a purchase {I see camo worn for hunting purposes way to often down here}. One of my girlfriends recently wore it perfectly and since then I can’t get my mind off of the idea. Once the winter months are upon us, I look forward to a little camo and lots of layers.
