It was almost 90 degrees here in New Orleans today, and when we wake up tomorrow, they are saying it’s going to be 40! From winter to spring now back to winter! I can’t wait till the temperature makes up its mind and enjoy the best spring has to offer! Last fall when designers were showing spring 2015, the thing I noticed on every single runway was all white. A spring trend I can’t wait to try!

People often ask, how do I stay inspired while shopping, two words….Fashion Week. Every fashion week I pay close attention to the shows, looking for common themes, trends and new silhouettes. I pin my favorite looks on pinterest, then refer to those pins when the season is upon us. To say I am looking forward to Fall 2013, is an understatement. The cooler weather and everything that comes along with it cannot get here soon enough. Here are the trends I will be on the lookout for when adding fall pieces to my closet.

For Spring 2013, it’s all about metallics, the flowing frocks, the light mentions of leather and pastels. Also crop tops everywhere, the models pull it off nicely, but not so sure that will be my look, come spring!
