I love a good Esty find and have to share this one. I ordered from Crazy Little Silk a year or two ago and recently have gone back for more! Beautiful designs and a price point that won’t break the bank. She can also customize most designs in the color of your choice!
The Art of Layering
A few months back when I was in New York I stumbled upon the new Gorjana store in the West Village. I immediately fell in love with the pieces {and the merchandising}. The girls working there were so fun and helped me layer and try on all sorts of amazing pieces. I am 5’11” and sometimes I find the finer pieces just don’t work on my frame. After a little guidance {and layering} I scooped up my first two pieces and already can’t wait to add to my collection. Best part – the fine finishes, the light weight and versatility of each piece.

DIY to try
I have been eyeing tassel necklaces for quite some time now {especially this one}, and decided to try my hand at making a few of my own. I have to say I think they came out pretty well, not to mention, this was a pretty simple DIY. Just a few beads, a few tassels {Hobby Lobby has a great selection} and some cord to string it on, and that’s it!

son of a sailor
I learned a lot while at Texas Style Council, but my favorite class hands down, was a DIY with Son of a Sailor Jewelry and Supply. I absolutely love the look of painted leather, not to mention, many of their pieces are one-of-a kind. This is a new to me brand and I can’t wait to watch them grow. Here are a few of my favorite pieces.

friday finds
One thing I love about Texas Style Council is meeting new bloggers and brands that I can support and share. I discovered the online shop of Moorea Seal and it is an amazing one, filled with uniquely curated pieces at price points for everyone. The three pieces below are all under $30.

shop for a cause
Shopping is a little easier when you know you are supporting a great cause at the same time. Stella&Dot has teamed up with the HollyRod Foundation to benefit Autism Awareness, and has some super cute items in store for you. My favorite is the jewelry roll, I still can’t figure out the best way to travel with my jewelry. Lately Ziploc bags have been the container of choice, however this jewelry roll is much more functional and adorable too!

vintage collection
One thing I love about blogging is the amazing designers, lines, and fun finds I come across. If you haven’t checked out Chloe + Isabel it’s a must! Such wonderful pieces at prices we can all afford. I absolute love their vintage collection out right now! How chic are these bracelets, a wrist full would be perfect!
P.S.: the necklaces are just as fabulous!
