Shellegance

I learned about artist Lucie de Moyencourt from a stunning installation for Kips Bay Showhouse (photo above).  I love the uniqueness of her designs and have tried several times to acquire her hard to get pieces, with no luck. She recently launched a small collection in collaboration with Anthropologie and I jumped at the chance to have a few of her designs. The pieces are beautifully made and heavy in weight. The oversized blue and white platter is my favorite piece, can’t wait to style it in my home.

Feel Good Floral

In a fabric store at a pretty young age my mom introduced me to Liberty of London. Ever since I have loved their fun, punchy patterns. I’m in the market for a new card case and recently spent far too much time perusing their website. I have these in my cart. Now which pattern to choose?

Color Story

All things green! For as long as I can remember green has been my favorite color, and also my birthstone, Emerald. I recently scooped up this Riley Sheehey fabric and am feeling so inspired by the color.

Dear Santa

Our family picks names every year and we always share a little wish list. I enjoy creating my list and wanted to give you a glimpse, plus a few more for good measure.

This cashmere scarf is one of my favorite winter pieces in my closet, I was gifted the gray one a few years back and must get the camel color. Great price point too at $50.

I am addicted to my Lake pajamas and would love to continue my collection.

The domino set is a reach, but Mexican train is favorite of my families to play. And this is the MOST chic set I have seen.

We took a trip to the Bahamas last week and I have been eyeing all the rattan and cane since I have been back, this lamp is a STEAL at under $150.

How beautiful is this hand painted bowl?! Would be such a fun addition to the table.

What’s on your list?

Paper Stash

I cleaned out my linen cabinet last night and couldn’t help but admire my growing collection of paper cocktail and luncheon napkins. I keep a stash on hand for all seasons. Such an easy, festive way to brighten a table at the drop of a hat. I love bringing a pack for a birthday dinner or pairing with a napkin holder for a hostess’s gift.

I typically have great luck finding them at Home Goods, and locally in New Orleans, I can always count on Judy’s or Hazelnut to have a beautiful selection.

Fresh Out the Box

I just received these two pieces from Zara Home and know they will be in heavy rotation this fall.  They are SO good! You may not think of browsing Zara Home for clothes, but they get fabulous casual items and shoes! Not too mention the home goods are to die for!!
